Vivo marked its tenth anniversary in India with the Tech Day 2024 event, underscoring its commitment to innovation and technological progress in the smartphone industry. The celebration highlighted the brand’s enhanced partnerships and notable technological advancements.
At the event, Vivo presented the Vivo India Impact Report, which detailed the company’s contributions to India’s mobile ecosystem over the past decade. Vivo India has achieved significant milestones, including the production of around 150 million smartphones locally and an investment of approximately ₹3,500 crore in operations. Additionally, their CSR initiatives have positively impacted 2.5 million lives.

- ZEISS Collaboration: Vivo showcased its partnership with ZEISS, revealing their co-engineered imaging system that aims to deliver exceptional camera capabilities to consumers.
- V3+ Imaging Chip: The introduction of the next-generation V3+ Imaging Chip promises superior camera performance, enhancing the photographic experience on Vivo smartphones.
- Telecom Innovations: Vivo has established itself as a leading contributor to 3GPP standards, holding over 6,000 patents and submitting more than 15,000 proposals, reflecting its significant role in telecom advancements.
- Durability Partnership: Vivo has teamed up with SCHOTT, a pioneer in glass technology, to incorporate SCHOTT’s Xensation series cover glass in its premium smartphones. This collaboration aims to enhance the durability of Vivo devices, with the cover glass passing rigorous drop and bend tests.
