Saudi Airlines plane caught fire during its landing at Peshawar airport on Thursday, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident occurred aboard flight SV-792 originating from Riyadh, as the blaze ignited in the rear of the aircraft, specifically in the landing gear during descent.
Prompt action by the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) at Bacha Khan International Airport detected sparks and smoke emanating from the left landing gear, immediately alerting the pilot.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) swiftly deployed fire and rescue services to the scene. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire, allowing all 276 passengers and 21 crew members to safely evacuate using emergency exits and inflatable slides.
