Royal Enfield has unveiled its new ‘Borderless Warranty Program,’ designed to enhance support for riders traveling internationally. This program offers warranty coverage for all Royal Enfield motorcycles currently under warranty, across 2,605 cities in over 70 countries, including India.
The initiative aims to assist riders who venture beyond their home country, allowing them to claim warranty services abroad. However, it’s important to note that this program is only applicable to new motorcycles purchased through authorized Royal Enfield dealerships, motorcycles still within their warranty period, and those serviced exclusively at authorized Royal Enfield service centers. Motorcycles privately imported into other countries are not covered under this program.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, commented on the program’s launch, stating, “At Royal Enfield, we are committed to building a vibrant global community of riders who share our love for exploration and adventure. With the introduction of the Royal Enfield Borderless Warranty Program, we aim to enhance the customer experience by providing exceptional support and assurance to riders worldwide.”
In other news, Royal Enfield recently introduced the Guerrilla 450 in India, priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (introductory price, ex-showroom Chennai). The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is also featured in the Himalayan. This engine delivers 40hp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm.
Looking ahead, Royal Enfield is set to launch the updated Classic 350 on August 12th. Additionally, the company is expected to reveal the Interceptor Bear 650 later this year. These new releases are part of Royal Enfield’s ongoing efforts to expand its motorcycle lineup and enhance customer satisfaction.
