Royal Enfield is set to refresh its iconic Classic 350 on August 12, focusing primarily on enhancing its features rather than making mechanical changes.
Key Updates Expected:
– Introduction of standard LED lighting
– No changes anticipated in the bike’s mechanics
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 remains the company’s top-selling model, though it faces increasing competition both from rival brands and other models within Royal Enfield’s own lineup. This update aims to rejuvenate the Classic 350 and maintain its market dominance. As previously reported, the bike will feature LED lighting along with several other new features.
Mechanically, the Classic 350 will retain its core specifications, which is a positive aspect. The bike is powered by a 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20hp and 27Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It weighs 195kg when its 13-litre fuel tank is full. Currently, the Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The introduction of the updated model may lead to a price adjustment in response to the competitive market.
