Porsche unveiled the Taycan facelift globally in February and has now introduced it in India with prices for the 4S and Turbo variants set at Rs 1.89 crore and Rs 2.53 crore, respectively. However, prices for the base RWD Taycan, Turbo S, Turbo GT variants, and the updated Cross Turismo estate version have not yet been announced.

Exterior and Interior Updates
Visually, the Taycan facelift remains largely unchanged. The front features new LED headlamps with HD-Matrix design and detailed optics, along with a slightly redesigned bumper and revised air vents. At the rear, updates include new tail lamps and a modified bumper. Both variants come with new aero-optimized wheels: 19-inch for the 4S and 20-inch for the Turbo.
Inside, the Taycan facelift includes software upgrades for the digital driver’s display and infotainment system, and introduces two new optional leather-free interior upholstery packages. Standard features across both variants include 14-way adjustable front seats with heating, matrix LED headlamps, four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear parking camera. The Turbo variant additionally offers a head-up display, Bose sound system, and a leather interior package.
Powertrain and Specifications
The Taycan facelift is based on a new 800V architecture, making both models more powerful and efficient. Significant updates include a more powerful rear axle motor, producing up to 109hp more than before. All motors are lighter with revised internals for better efficiency and increased power.
In the 4S variant, the Taycan uses a dual motor setup producing a combined 517hp (598hp with Overboost) and 695Nm of torque. The Turbo variant features a dual motor setup delivering 707hp (884hp with Overboost) and 890Nm of torque. Both variants have a single-speed transmission for the front axle and a 2-speed transmission for the rear axle. Standard on both variants is adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The Turbo variant additionally includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and the Sport Chrono package as standard.
Battery and Range
The Taycan facelift features a new battery with revised cell chemistry. The Turbo variant’s larger Performance Battery Plus now has a gross capacity of 105kWh, up from 93.4kWh, with an 800V architecture capable of energy recuperation at up to 320kW, an increase of 50kW. The 4S variant’s battery has been upgraded to 89kWh from 79.2kWh. Porsche claims a range of 503km to 590km for the 89kWh battery and 579km to 678km for the 105kWh battery, both on the WLTP cycle. An 11kW on-board AC charger is standard.
