Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new Ignis Radiance Edition, priced from Rs 5.49 lakh. This latest special edition aims to invigorate sales amid a slowdown in the mass-market segment with a range of cosmetic enhancements. Ignis Radiance Edition available on Sigma, Zeta and Alpha variants; prices start Rs 35,000 lower than the entry-level Sigma trim.
Ignis Radiance Edition Features and Pricing
The Ignis Radiance Edition is positioned as a more affordable option compared to its standard Sigma trim, which is priced at Rs 5.84 lakh. At Rs 5.49 lakh, the Radiance Edition is priced Rs 35,000 lower and comes with additional accessories valued at Rs 3,650. These accessories include wheel covers for the 15-inch steel wheels, a door visor, and chrome highlights in selected areas.
For those opting for higher trims, the Radiance Edition based on the Zeta variant (Rs 6.96 lakh-7.41 lakh) and the Alpha variant (Rs 7.61 lakh-8.06 lakh) also benefits from a Rs 35,000 price reduction. These trims come equipped with accessories worth Rs 9,500, which include new seat covers, black cushions, door cladding, and a door visor.
No Mechanical Changes
Mechanically, the Ignis Radiance Edition remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 83hp, 1.2-liter petrol engine, available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. The Ignis remains a competitor to models such as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Citroen C3, and other Maruti Suzuki offerings like the Wagon R, Swift, and Baleno.
