Engine Choices and Competitors
The Thar ROXX will feature three engine options. The entry-level model will come with a 1.5L diesel engine and a manual transmission, priced at around Rs. 12 lakh (excluding showroom costs), matching the base model of the Scorpio N. It will also include the 2.0L turbo diesel and 2.2L diesel engines from the current Thar range. The performance of these engines in the forthcoming 5-door model remains uncertain.
Competing with the 2024 Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny, the Thar ROXX is set to transform the premium SUV category by blending luxury, advanced technology, and superior performance.
