On August 15 last year, Ola Electric unveiled four cutting-edge e-motorcycle concepts. Now, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has posted an intriguing image on social media that reveals a significant development: a large battery pack housed within a tubular chassis, hinting at the company’s forthcoming electric motorcycle.
Details Revealed in the Teaser Image

The recently shared image features a substantial battery pack encased in a tubular frame, suggesting this will be Ola’s next e-bike. Notably, the image also shows a front sprocket and chain final drive, similar to setups seen in the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 and Matter Aera electric motorcycles. Additionally, the presence of a footpeg indicates that this is an electric motorcycle rather than a scooter. The photo also reveals the beginning of a seat positioned almost at the same height as the battery pack.
What We Know About Ola’s E-Bike
While the four concepts introduced last year were preliminary designs, Ola has since patented three more realistic e-bike designs. These new patents indicate that the company is moving closer to bringing a production model to market.

Ola Electric has dominated India’s e-scooter market with its strategy of maintaining prices despite reducing subsidies. The company’s S1 scooter range is priced between Rs 74,999 and Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Anticipation for the Launch
Ola Electric is known for making major announcements on August 15. Given this pattern, it is possible that the company’s first electric bike could be officially revealed on that date. Stay tuned for updates as Ola Electric continues to innovate in the electric vehicle space.
