Reportedly, Spotify, the music streaming platform used by millions worldwide, faced an issue where many users complained that their playlists were not showing. Although users could play music without a problem, a glitch appeared to be causing user-created playlists to disappear, while auto-generated playlists like ‘Daily Mix’ remained unaffected.
Expressing their frustration on X (formerly Twitter), many Spotify users are questioning if they are the only ones affected by the problem. According to DownDetector, the website tracking the online status of various services, the issue emerged around 3 PM IST.
Despite numerous posts tagging Spotify on X, the company has not provided any response regarding the disappearing playlists. As illustrated below, user-created playlists currently appear blank on the iPhone version of the app, while they are entirely invisible on the Android version of Spotify.
