A serious crash happened near Kasara Ghat on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway on Sunday, July 13th. It injured 15 people when a truck flipped over and hit several cars. Video footage shows six to seven vehicles badly damaged. They were parked on the highway, reportedly by tourists visiting a nearby waterfall.
The video also shows the overturned truck. It seems like it was going too fast and couldn’t stay in control, crashing into the parked cars. Thankfully, all injured people were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and no one died.
Authorities are warning drivers to be careful, especially during the rainy season. Roads get slippery, and it’s harder to see because of heavy rain in Maharashtra, including Mumbai.
Tourists should remember not to park on highways and to stay away from places near waterfalls where water levels can rise suddenly during the rainy season.
This crash reminds everyone how important it is to think about safety on the road, especially in places where accidents are more likely.
