The release of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s much-anticipated film, *Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha*, has been postponed from its scheduled date of July 5. The decision, as communicated by the film’s makers, came in response to requests from exhibitors and the distribution community.
In an Instagram post, the production company announced, “Dear Friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New Release date to be announced soon (sic).” This delay follows the recent unveiling of the film’s trailer, which provided glimpses into its intricate storyline and notable performances.
The trailer sets the stage for a compelling narrative: Ajay Devgn’s character professes an unbreakable love for Tabu’s character, only to face unexpected challenges that lead him into a period of incarceration. The film spans two decades, from 2002 to 2023, promising a blend of romance, drama, and music under the direction of Neeraj Pandey.
Highlighted by a soundtrack composed by the Oscar-winning MM Keeravaani and lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir, *Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha* is positioned as a distinctive musical love story. It features Shantanu Maheshwari portraying a younger Ajay Devgn and Saiee Manjrekar as a younger Tabu, with Jimmy Sheirgill also playing a pivotal role.
Produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia, the film is eagerly awaited by fans for its ambitious storytelling and stellar cast. As the filmmakers prepare to announce a new release date, the delay underscores their commitment to ensuring a successful theatrical run in collaboration with their distribution partners.
