Despite a strong demand for Audi vehicles, issues within the supply chain have impeded improved results. Audi India saw a decrease in sales by 6.04% from 1,431 units in the second quarter of 2024 compared to 1,523 units in the previous year. The first half of the year saw an overall decrease of 28.68% in total sales.
However, the second quarter marked a slight improvement over the first. Even though there was a decline in sales in Q2, it was a more significant improvement than the 46.36% drop in the first quarter of the same year. This recovery from the first to the second quarter was about 87% in percentage terms. It’s noteworthy that the negative growth trend has been narrowed to a single-digit percentage in Q2.

Audi is confident that these issues will be completely resolved by the latter part of the year. As supplies stabilize in the next few months, Audi expects to be able to satisfy the growing demand for its vehicles in India. Demand for Audi cars remains strong across its varied range, and there’s a positive outlook for luxury vehicles in India.
