Recently, Shah Rukh Khan’s children, Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan, have been making notable strides in real estate. Suhana has purchased two prestigious properties in Maharashtra. Aryan has also entered the real estate market with a high-profile acquisition, buying two floors in a South Delhi building for Rs 37 crore. This building is particularly significant as Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri, used to live there during their early years together. Shah Rukh currently owns the ground floor and basement of the same building.
Documents reviewed by the Economic Times show that Aryan’s transaction, completed in May 2024, included a stamp duty payment of Rs 2.64 crore. This investment is noteworthy because Bollywood celebrities generally shy away from high-value property deals in Delhi. Pradeep Prajapati, founder of Wealthvisory Capital, highlighted the rarity of such transactions, citing Amitabh Bachchan’s sale of his South Delhi property for Rs 23 crore as a rare example.
In addition to Aryan’s recent purchase, Suhana Khan made headlines in January 2023 when she bought farmland in Alibaug, Maharashtra, for Rs 12.91 crore. On the professional front, Suhana made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s adaptation of “The Archies” and will soon appear alongside her father in Sujoy Ghosh’s film “The King.” Aryan is preparing for his directorial debut with the web series “Stardom.” These investments and career moves reflect the Khan family’s growing influence both in real estate and the entertainment industry.
