Amitabh Bachchan, aged 81, made a heartfelt return as the host of the 16th season of *Kaun Banega Crorepati* (KBC) this week, bringing his signature energy to the show. The iconic actor, known for his dynamic presence, was visibly emotional as he stepped onto the stage to kick off the new season. In his opening speech, Bachchan expressed deep gratitude to the viewers and participants, admitting he was at a loss for words to adequately convey his thanks.

Speaking in Hindi, Bachchan reflected on the significance of the new season, noting that no words could fully capture his appreciation for the support and love he has received. As the show’s crew gave him a standing ovation, he was moved to tears, acknowledging the “KBC family” for their role in revitalizing the show. He thanked them for their prayers and support, which he felt had breathed new life into the program and reunited him with his audience.

In his traditional gesture of respect, Bachchan performed a namaste and lauded the people of India for their role in the show’s revival. He promised to put in double the effort to honor their affection and hoped to continue receiving their encouragement throughout the season.
